Irem Calli is a 24 year old currently based in Innsbruck, Austria.

Ever since childhood, she has always been an observer
trying to make sense of her complex environment.

Coming from a Turkish family from major Aegean cities, 🌊
🏔️ she was born in a very small Austrian town in the Alps.

Whilst her native connection to the mountains and the oceans
have deepened her love for nature and sport,
the ancient histories, cultures and languages that came with these places
sparked her interest for science, art and music.

Soon enough she expressed her impressions through the very things that inspired her;

It was through painting, playing instruments and delving further into
what nature had to offer both physically and spiritually.

The desire to find a way to combine her passions
pushed her to explore and try new endeavours.

She discovered photography as a new hobby,
which then led her to think about filming,
and what she could film, but the possibilities were endless.

So she jotted down her ideas.
Ideas turned into plots, and plots into whole screenplays.

And she realised
that’s where her passions could meet and breathe.

That’s how callivis emerged.

It resembles a studio —
a place to gather ideas, ongoing work, and develop projects,
allowing them to shift and take shape gradually.

callivis holds work that is driven by curiosity, attention,
and the desire to remain in playful dialogue with what is yet unfolding.
